Ultimate versatility was the aim of this systems design so that it suits any trip in any environment. You can use the sleeping bags individually or layer them together to cover all conditions. The Special Forces System gives you the Special Forces 1 Bag for use in above freezing temperatures and the Special Forces 2 Bag for use in temperatures right down to -10°C. Then, when you’re in extreme conditions, you place the Special Forces 2 WGTE Bag inside the Special Forces 1 WGTE Bag and join them together with the extra zip baffle, so you’re protected in conditions right down to -20°C. Ingenious!

How does the complete system work?

The Complete System gives you the Special Forces 1 Bag for use in above freezing temperatures and the Special Forces 2 Sleeping Bag for use in temperatures right down to -10°C. Then, when you’re in extreme conditions, you place the Special Forces 2 Bag inside the Special Forces 1 Bag and join them together with the extra zip baffle, so you’re protected in conditions right down to -20°C. Ingenious!

The benefits of Softie® Premier insulation include heat retention, even when wet, a high loft and a naturally softer touch. For additional heat retention, the centered two-way zip has an insulated baffle.

This Special Forces 2 sleeping bag can be used on its own or the Special Forces 1 sleeping bag can be inserted inside. Alternatively, use the Snugpak Zip Baffle to join the two bags to form a single unit that can protect you against temperatures down to -20°C.

Addition features include a drawstring adjustable hood, anti-snag zipper webbing tape, and an internally reinforced foot section that enables you to sleep with your boots on if a fast exit might be required.

Supplied with a stuff sack with compression straps to minimize pack size for easy transportation or carrying.

Available for purchase as a whole system or can be built up from the various Special Forces 1 or Special Forces 2 sleeping bags.
