Designed for warmth and protection in even the harshest weather, the Snugpak Softie 12 Osprey sleeping bag is a four-season performance sleeping bag enhanced by technical features.

Many view the Softie 12 Osprey Sleeping Bag as the ultimate four season synthetic filled sleeping bag. Since its launch in 1987, it has been setting the standard for winter bag performance for others to follow. Along with the rest of the Softie WGTE range, the benefits go on and on. The Softie Premier filling has excellent insulating properties, trapping heat and maximising comfort; the design of the mummy-style shape brings additional warmth and comfort, the sleeping bag also comes with a snug fit hood that uses an adjustable cord to ensure a comfortable night’s sleep, even when the temperature drops.

The bag can comfortably withstand temperatures down to -10°C and extreme survival temperatures as low as a chilly -15°C but is still able to be packed down into a compact 23cm x 25cm sack when fully compressed.

The bag is filled with Softie Premier insulation, a soft to touch synthetic fibre that can retain heat even when wet.

The inner lining is Paratex Light, a water repellent and breathable moisture wicking fabric which is also windproof and exceptionally light.

The outer fabric of the bag is made from extra-tough Paratex Steelplate. This strong fabric is also lightweight and waterproof, providing you with an extra layer of protection against the worst the weather can throw at you. It’s also breathable to allow perspiration to quickly disperse.

The popular mummy shape of this washable sleeping bag is designed for optimum warmth, and there is a jacket-like hood with a drawstring cord for a snug fit that keeps chills at bay.

A useful feature of the Softie range of bags is the full-length zip baffle. The 2-way zip is prevented from snagging with a sewn-in material strip and the baffle prevent any draughts and heat escaping through the zip.
