The Snugpak Scorpion 2 IX™ is a sleek angled compact two-person tent. It is a ‘Fly-First’ pitch tent that allows a quick and easy set-up with an opposing pole design, that keeps condensation buildup to a minimum. The inner tent is made of a No-See-Um Mesh Mosquito Net to keep out bugs, snakes, etc.

The Snugpak Scorpion 2 IX™ will shelter you from the worst four-season weather, it has a 5000mm hydrostatic head (HH) polyurethane (PU) coated flysheet, with taped seams. The Scorpion 2 IX™ WGTE has an impressive sleeping space, measuring 205cm/81” long and 110cm/43” wide, creating ample room for two people in a top-toe sleeping arrangement with an additional spacious front porch for extra storage. In an emergency, there is enough space to accommodate up to six people sitting down.

With a versatile front vestibule area that is perfect for storing your gear overnight or using your stove, it allows for flexible setups whilst keeping you comfortable and protected in wet conditions.

The Scorpion 2 is a fly-first pitch type tent which allows you to very quickly setup the fly in wet conditions without getting water inside whilst setting up the inner. It also allows you to pack up most of the tent in the dry first if it is raining.

The Scorpion 2 has been made with high quality waterproof materials to keep you protected.

The flysheet is 210t Polyester Rip Stop and the inner tent is 190t Nylon, both of which are coated with a 5000mm highly waterproof polyurethane.

The inner tent also has three Polyester mesh vents to allow for ventilation without allowing bugs to get in.

Inside the tent are 8 mesh pockets sewn into the sides that can be used for storing your gear for easy access. There are also 2 hooks that can be used to hang a light or wet gear to dry.

The tent inner is black and as such is very good at keeping out light once the sun is up and glare from snow in wintry conditions.

The tent is packed away into a neat stuff sack and can be carried Inside your pack or attached to the outside using the sack compression straps.

The sleek angled profile of the Scorpion 2 IX™ tent packs down small with a light trail weight of 4.9lbs / 2.2kg. Using tried and tested lightweight aluminium poles, it does not take up valuable space in your pack, making it an ideal choice when light weight and small pack size are essential.
