The Snugpak Scorpion 2 Man Tent is a sleek, angled, and compact two-person shelter, designed for quick setup and reliable all-weather protection. Firstly, its Fly-First pitch design allows you to set up the fly quickly, even in wet conditions, while the opposing pole structure also helps minimize condensation. Moreover, the inner tent is made from No-See-Um Mesh, keeping out insects, snakes, and other pests, and can be used on its own as a mosquito shelter in warmer weather.

Spacious & Comfortable

The Scorpion 2 IX™ provides ample sleeping space for two people in a top-to-toe arrangement, measuring 205cm / 81” long by 110cm / 43” wide. In addition, it features a front vestibule for extra gear storage or even a stove setup. Furthermore, in emergencies, the tent can accommodate up to six people sitting down, making it highly versatile.

Versatile & Practical

Because it is a Fly-First tent, the Scorpion 2 allows you to pitch the fly first, keeping the inner dry in wet conditions. Similarly, you can pack most of the tent in dry conditions first, even if it’s raining. Additionally, the flysheet is made from 210T polyester ripstop, and the inner tent from 190T nylon, both coated with 5000mm HH waterproof PU and taped seams. As a result, you remain fully protected from rain, wind, and snow, while staying comfortable inside.

Ventilation & Storage

The tent includes three polyester mesh vents for airflow without letting bugs in. Inside, there are eight mesh pockets (four on each side) and two hanging hooks for lights or wet gear. Moreover, the black inner fabric helps block light and reduce glare, which is especially useful in bright or snowy conditions.

Lightweight & Compact

Despite its spacious interior, the Scorpion 2 IX™ weighs just 2.7kg / 5.95lbs and packs down to 43cm x 19cm / 17″ x 7″. Additionally, it comes with lightweight anodised aluminium poles (7001), a compression stuff sack, guy ropes, stakes, and a basic repair kit, making it easy to transport and quick to set up. Consequently, it is perfect for situations where weight and pack size are essential.
