Quick & Easy Setup

The Ionosphere IX™ features a two-pole, hooped design, which is easy to pitch and helps minimize condensation. In addition, the inner tent is made from No-See-Um Mesh, which keeps out insects, snakes, and other pests. Furthermore, in warmer months or climates, the mesh can be used without the fly as a stand-alone mosquito shelter, adding versatility to your setup.

Reliable Weather Protection

The tent provides shelter from all but the most extreme weather conditions. Specifically, the flysheet is constructed from 210T polyester ripstop with a 5000mm hydrostatic head (HH) PU coating, and all seams are taped for waterproofing. Meanwhile, the inner tent combines 190T nylon and 50D polyester mesh, and the groundsheet is 190T nylon with 5000mm HH PU coating, ensuring protection from moisture and the elements. As a result, you stay dry and comfortable in a variety of conditions.

Compact & Lightweight Design

Despite its durability, the Ionosphere IX™ weighs just 1.52kg / 3.35lbs, and it packs down to 48cm x 14cm / 19″ x 6″, making it highly portable. The tent measures 240cm / 94” long by 90cm / 35” wide, providing ample space for one person and some gear. Moreover, in emergencies, it can accommodate two people. The fine mesh at the entrance prevents midges, sand flies, and other small insects from entering, while two internal mesh pockets and a head-end hanging loop help organize your equipment.
