The bergan has been well thought out and has all the modifications you would want. From a three sided top zip through to a removable hip belt if you are wearing belt kit. It is well made with a huge amount of space that can be reduced down by removing the side pouches. The green allows you to use it as a Bushcraft bergan but throw an MTP cover over it and it would sit at home on exercise in the military. I am looking forward to putting it through its paces.

Comfortable and easy use, my issued bergen cover fitted great over it when I was in Norway during an exercise and it held up great with my kit, only downside is that I couldn’t get it in mtp at the time!

Managed to pack fit everything in it including the bathroom sink with room to spare, didn’t need the side pouches and waist belt so they got removed and it was simply perfect, looking forward to a few more trips into the woodlands with it

Just to let you know I received the Pathfinder Bergen and am very happy with it. As per my previous inquiry to you I purchased a side pouch yolk in OG (New) and it attaches to the side pouches perfectly. The only difference is that your clips are OG and the army ones are black. Which of course is not an issue at all. THANKS FOR THE SUPERDOOPER BERGEN!!!!

If like me you have a long torso this may not be for you. However it is very well put together. All stitching is good and the materials used are up to military standard. Fully loaded this thing is huge. You will need to take it off to enter a standard door frame. The side pockets can be unzipped and untethered which solves any such issues and still offers huge space. You won’t need to buy small compressed equipment instead focus on weight reduction. Not used it yet quality but it’s cool.

Very well thought out bergen, for me it is not as comfortable as my self modified shortback British army bergen that can carry all the same gear . I’ve been military (Infanteer) for 19 years and just left. I’ve spent £1000s on kit over the years and purchased a bergan for almost £400. This bergan is absloutly value for money, construction is fantastic up there with the best and more expensive ones, the difference it’s not branded that’s it. The only comment I will say is the chest strap is too high it needs to come down so it’s parallel to the chest close to the nipple line, but I can live with it. Thanks Kitpimp love it!

The ultimate bit of ally kit! Excellent in all aspects, from the “Fan Dance” to river crossings, this piece of kit has all the support you need out in the field. Very strong buckles, no need for sniper tape, it’s very sturdy and supporting on the shoulders and back. Enough room for even double Arctic doss bags. Highly recommend ????

Bought the PF Bergan, arrived 2 days later and so far so good ! Very well put together, stitched and thought through.
*if I was to make one adjustment it would be with the straps that feed through the side pouches, when you take the sides of their is nowhere to stow the strap (I just used a hair bobble) ! But I am nit picking here. The Bergan is incredible and would recommend to anyone.

Une livraison en France très rapide. Un superbe sac, très bien conçu, des matériaux de qualité et une fabrication irréprochable. Malheureusement une longueur de dos beaucoup trop courte, et je ne mesure que 173cm. La ceinture ventrale arrive au niveau du plexus. Sac conçu pour les militaires qui le porte par dessus leur ceinture multi-poches…. Pour un usage civil, beaucoup trop inconfortable, je l’ai revendu au bout de dix jours…. Dommage car en tant qu’ancien para, j’adore le concept …. Je reviendrai peut être si il sort en version dos long, en attendant j’utilise un bon vieux Berghaus, mais c’est dommage
