The US Army Generation III Level 6 Extreme Wet/Cold Weather Jacket also known as the L6 Extreme Wet/Cold Weather Jacket Multicam is designed for use in moderate to cold and wet conditions as a hard shell layer combined with other base and insulating layers. This shell layer is designed to be worn as a waterproof barrier over other levels in conditions that alternate between freezing and thawing.

It is constructed with two-layer water proof membrane and seam-sealed throughout. The jacket provides an outstanding light-weight, completely waterproof, windproof and breathable level of protection against the elements with 50% less bulk than previous systems. You will not believe how light weight it is compared to the ECWCS Generation I and Generation II.

The GEN III Extreme Wet/Cold Weather Jacket and Trousers are designed for use in moderate to cold wet conditions as a hard shell layer combined with other base and insulative layers. NOTE: Sizing runs slightly larger to accommodate other layers.

Constructed with two-layer GORE-TEX® and seam-sealed throughout, the Jacket and Trousers provide an outstanding light-weight, completely waterproof, windproof and breathable level of protection against the elements with 50% less bulk than previous systems. Level VI also incorporates near infrared signature reduction technology further enhancing soldier survivability.

The jacket features a center-front slide fastener with two slide fastener and two pass-through front middle pockets, a visored hood with hook and loop for back adjustability, an elastic cord-lock tunnel in the front and a hide-away collar which the hood can be stowed in; and elastic cuffed sleeves with a hook and loop tab for further adjustability.
