The Crusader Cooking Set in Silver is a 2-part system aimed at replacing the Mess tin as a cooking utensil and allows you to boil water in the mug and the cooker which goes underneath replaces the Hexi burner a soldier would typically carry, quite simply an ingenious system for compacting your belt kit down.

Comes in 2 components and also available in 2 colours

Recommended for use with FireDragon gel fuel as issued to UK forces but compatible with other Hexi type fuel or even wood.

Crusader Metal Mug

The cup canteen is designed to fit beneath the NATO water bottle or as part of the BCB Complete Cooking System and doubles as a cooking pot.

It is constructed of high-grade stainless steel; this version has a metal finish and it is also available in a black PTFE coating which means it’s easier to clean.

This item is used by lots of members of the British Forces and fits the issue 58 pattern water bottle thus replacing the plastic mug with basically a metal improved version.

The Crusader Cup Canteen is NATO approved and comes in either a black PFTE finish OR a high-grade stainless steel, which ever option you opt for both are quality items.

Crusader Cooker

An innovative new Hexi solid and gel fuel field cooker which as stated accepts both the issued Firedragon fuel as well as NATO Hexi fuel, this gem fits below the actual metal mug itself.

An integral folding arm allows the cup to fit securely over a fuel crucible where gel fuel or solid hexamine fuel blocks can be lit.

A small slot provides efficient air intake whilst the walls of the cooker provide shielding against the wind.

In transit, the cooker nests neatly and compactly beneath the cup as shown in the pictures.

Boils 500ml (17floz) of water in under 6 minutes.

Also integrates with the British Military issue ’90 pattern water bottle and mug – water bottle fits inside the Cup, although we recommend using the entire solution together.

This set has been very popular for a number of years and is still a best seller!

The BLACK PTFE coating is available – which means it’s easier to clean some would suppose, we can’t really comment because it’s a bit after our time
