Welcome to the KitPimp Recon Hybrid MOLLE Webbing in MTP, we’ve taken extensive customer feedback and after long development are now releasing the forthcoming “ultimate tailored webbing”, bringing all the most called for and sophisticated webbing tailoring modifications into one package, everything you would wish for in a set of belt kit or MTP Webbing thus really bringing it now into a evolved form from our previous examples of Airborne Webbing.
The first innovative feature of the KitPimp Recon Hybrid MOLLE Webbing is that it uses a unique method of stitching to allow us to “squeeze” in an extra full sized utility pouch for the user so if you are a medium you get 4 in stead of 3, and 5 instead of 4 if you are a large! Usually this would only be possible by going to a complex bespoke webbing tailoring process but thanks to years of experiance we’ve brought the ultimate tailored webbing package to you… and with more features packed in!
This new innovation Hybrid Webbing features a jointed hip pad designed to accommodate more pouches per waist size and promoting a more tailored fit. Closed cell foam to pad and protect the user and spacer mesh to ensure industry leading comfort and breathability.

User feedback collected over a year and improvements have allowed us to update the existing design and with customer feedback the result is:
- Extra utility pouch
- 2 x Dual Bowman/Utility Pouches with pouch on front for a KDU allowing either a left or right handed user to incorporate the issue
- PRC 354 Bowman radio by closing the top flap into the pouch and threading the antenna through a Y-shaped lid with the KDU going inside the pocket on the outside of the pouch
- Cam Cream/Survival tin pouch for allowing users a small compartment to insert either
- MOLLE strips on end of each pouch for customization their load out further for accessories such as grenades or 3rd party additions

- One pouch on the inside of the Commanders lid for a small tool such as the best selling Breech tool or or small components of a weapon cleaning kit
- Durable one handed replace the Nexus buckles for quicker release and opening and enclosure
- MOLLE on top of ONE utility pouch lid for further customization
- We’ve also removed the end pouches to allow the user to add whatever they please with MOLLE!

It’s basically a type of kit that holds your ammo magazines, waterbottle, some rations, a way of cooking like a Jetboil or messtins with fuel, radio, first aid kit and lots other items depending on what your role is.
Even though this type of webbing is often referred to as Airborne Webbing it is not just Paratroopers who use it, although its common to them using it and other members of the infantry its also common for most switched-on members of the military to own a set.
The term Airborne Webbing or Commanders webbing has become a commonly used description for a single unit webbing set with an integral hip pad. We recognize that this terminology may not accurately reflect the item, but it has become the simplest way to describe it for those unfamiliar with the product.
The Airborne Webbing is equipped with a hip pad that is jointed and padded with closed cell foam to protect and provide cushioning to the soldier. The pouches are directly sewn onto the hip pad, which enhances stability and comfort. Most decent sets of Commanders Webbing have been meticulously designed and manufactured in the UK to meet the highest standards.
By utilizing fixed pouches, the belt kit is adjustable to fit users with smaller waist sizes. Through the innovative design methods, manufacturers are able to maintain the same number of required pouches and attach them to pads of varying lengths, resulting in a customized and comfortable fit for the user.
